Are You A Christian?

Are You Genuinely Converted?      The early church was genuinely converted. We know that by what we see in Acts 2:42-47 . So how can we been genuinely converted today?  There is a lot to this conversion thought.  If you ask a Christian today who knows what answer you will get? I ask these questions “Is everyone who says “I’m a Christian” a Christian?” and “And how do we know which way is right?” It is life and death for us all, how do we know what to do? I will say this; in order to do anything right we must do it by Christ’s authority (Matt. 28:18.) The only thing we have to go by to know what He wants us to do is His word (2 Tim 3:16-17.) So we must search there.  With that being said, we must agree that the only place we can see how to be genuinely converted to Christianity is in the bible.  Start your search today. Be fair-minded like those we see in  Acts 17:11. It's only by God's word  that we can know if we are God's children. I would start in Acts 11:26 .

The Growing Organism

Christ expects the church to be a growing organism. We are one body ( Eph. 4:4-6, Eph. 1:22-23,  Col. 1:18-24 ). The church needs to be growing. We need to grow as individuals and as a body ( Matt. 13:23 ).  There are only two options for the church. You are either growing or dyeing. Location, culture and society should not bare no role or influence on the church. What do you think, Are you growing or dyeing? Are you working to grow the church? Are being a true servant? What are you lacking? What are you missing? What do you need to change?

Mustard Seed Growth

Christ expects the church to be as a mustard seed (Matt. 13:31- 32; Mk. 4:30-32; Lk. 13:18-19). He expects it to start out small. He doesn’t expect it to stay that way. All though the mustard seed is the smallest seed it becomes one of the biggest plants, a tree.   When you take this view with the parable of the leaven (Matt. 13:33; Lk. 13:20-21) you glean the idea that is does not take much to grow the church. It simply takes the right things. Mk. 4:26-29 points out the spontaneity of the kingdom growth.   This verse also points out that it is not us doing the growing, just the planting. The Lord adds the increase (Acts 2:47). Are you growing? What do you need to change? Are you growing the way the Lord expects? Are you growing according to the word or man?
